Below you will find our registration and cancellation policies for all the classes we offer. Please read through carefully before payment.
Atelier Program
Our main program that runs during the weekdays during the semesters)
If student contacts ARA Boston at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the Atelier Program Term, we will provide a full refund minus 10%.
Less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the class, no refunds unless we can fill your spot from a waitlist, you will receive a 75% refund.
No carry-over missed days into future semesters. All makeups must be done within the same term. No make-ups for figure classes (can be made up as a bargue class)
ARA Boston is not responsible for any fees associated with a student having to cancel or change travel plans, including hotel and flight if ARA Boston cancels a class, workshop or changes its schedule.
If an instructor has to cancel a day of class, a makeup will be scheduled the same term.
In person classes: All efforts will be made to keep classes in-person. If due to unforeseen circumstances, such as the pandemic, the semester needs to shift online, no refunds or credit will be given for the remainder of the term.
Workshops
Self contained workshops run for 2 days, 3 days, 7 days straight, etc.
Workshop payments are non refundable. However, if the workshop is sold out and there is a waitlist for the workshop and another student can take your place, you will receive a 75% refund.
If you are unable to attend the workshop, you can move 100% of tuition to another workshop or future class credit. Credit must be used within 1 year of original payment date.
If ARA Boston cancels a workshop (due to low enrollment, sickness, etc). Students will receive a 100% refund. Students can also choose to move tuition to another workshop.

Semester Classes
Classes that run once a week for 12 weeks, evenings, and saturdays.
If student contacts ARA Boston at least 4 weeks prior to the start of class, we will provide a full refund.
No refunds or credits are given after a class has started.
Less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the class, if we can fill your spot from a waitlist, you will receive a 75% refund.
If an instructor has to cancel a class, a makeup day will be scheduled for the same term.
If a student has to miss a class, there are no makeups.
